The Center for Massage Therapy Continuing Education is approved by the following bodies:

Most State Boards

All courses are approved by the NCBTMB. These include Sports Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Introduction to Deep Tissue Massage, Introduction to Tui Na Massage, Chair Massage, Massage During Pregnancy, Injury Prevention for Massage Therapists, Basic Foot Reflexology, General Aromatherapy, Florida Mandatory Courses, Communicable Disease - HIV/AIDS, Professional Ethics, Ethics for the Certified Massage Therapist and Ethics in Massage-Roles and Boundaries, HIV/AIDS Universal Precautions.

All courses are also approved by the state of Florida. Please check your particular state laws and regulations regarding approval of home study courses and continuing education. Your state may have specific requirements regarding renewal of your massage license.

Our courses are accepted by the ABMP, AMTA and the states of: Alabama, Arizona, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, Nebraska (only certain courses), Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Washington, DC, West Virginia.

The following states do not currently license for massage therapy or require CE hours, but our courses can be used for NCBTMB renewal: California, Colorado, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Wisconsin and Wyoming.  However, individual cities may have licensing laws. Please check your city ordinances for continuing education requirements.

Our home study courses are not accepted by the states of: Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas.

The Center for Massage Therapy Continuing Education is not responsible for identifying each state law and regulation of massage therapy. However, we will do everything in our power to assist you with your license renewal. If you have questions, please contact us before purchasing.
