Chair Massage - 10 CE hours + 2 CE hours hands on portion
Master the art of chair massage in this 12 CE hour home study course. This program will teach you over 50 techniques that you can incorporate into a 10, 15 or 30 minute chair massage. The DVD used is titled Mastering Chair Massage with Diana Haynes. This course covers advanced techniques as well as chair set up, body mechanics, communication, the business of chair massage, how to formulate your routine and marketing.
After purchase, you will receive a DVD, exam of 81 questions, answer sheet, course evaluation, return envelope and a course guide which includes all of the directions needed to successfully complete your course. You complete the exam using the answer sheet and watching the DVD. Then, fill out the course evaluation form. Use the return envelope to mail the answer sheet and course evaluation back to us for grading. Passing score on the exam is 80%, CE credits awarded are 10. In order to complete the additional 2 CE hour hands on portion, you are required to complete a supervised, proctored hands on exam. This is required for NCBTMB renewal. It is optional for state renewals. This Chair Massage course is NCBTMB and State of Florida approved. It is also accepted by the AMTA, ABMP and most state boards.
