Maine Massage Therapy Continuing Education Requirements 2026
Maine does not currently require licensed massage therapists to complete continuing education hours for massage therapy license renewal.
Because there is no state-required massage therapy CE requirement, Maine massage therapists do not need to complete a specific number of CE hours to renew their Maine massage therapy license.
However, continuing education can still be valuable for expanding your massage therapy knowledge, learning new techniques, and maintaining professional skills.

All courses are provided by an NCBTMB Approved Provider #409296-00 and can be used toward NCBTMB Board Certification renewal when applicable.
Important Note
Maine's continuing education requirements can change. Massage therapists should verify current licensing and renewal requirements with the Maine Board of Massage Therapy before relying on this information for renewal.
If you hold a certification or membership through another organization, such as NCBTMB, AMTA, or ABMP, that organization may have its own continuing education requirements separate from Maine state licensure.
