Please understand that massage laws change frequently and vary from state to state. We will try to provide you with the most current information possible.

It is our understanding that currently, Nebraska massage therapists need 24 CE hours every 2 years for license renewal. You may take up to 10 CE hours in home study/online format as long as they are pre-approved by the board. The following courses we offer are pre-approved and accepted by the state of Nebraska for CE hours:

• Communicable Disease - HIV/AIDS - 3 CE hours
• Communicable Disease – Hepatitis A-E – 4 CE hours
• Ethics: Contraindications to Swedish Massage – 3 CE hours
• Ethics in Massage - Roles and Boundaries - 2 CE hours
• Ethics for the Certified Therapist - 4 CE hours
• General Aromatherapy - 6 CE hours
• H1N1 Overview – 1 CE hour
• HIV/AIDS Universal Precautions - 1 CE hour
• Massage and Pharmacology – 4 CE hours
• Massage and Fibromyalgia Syndrome – 7 CE hours
• Massage and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome – 5 CE hours
• Prevention of Medical Errors - 2 CE hours
• Professional Ethics - 6 CE hours
• Reiki Basics – 4 CE hours
• Trigger Point Therapy - 10 CE hours

Please note that all of our courses can be used for NCBTMB (National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork) recertification, our approved provider number is 409296-00. You may also use any of our CE courses for renewal with organizations such as the AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association) and ABMP (Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals).
