Education Requirements |

Please understand that
massage laws change frequently and vary from
state to state. We will try to provide you with
the most current information possible.
It is our understanding that currently,
Tennessee massage therapists must complete 25 CE
hours every 2 years. Of the 25 CE hours, 2 must
be taken (via live classroom instruction) in
Tennessee Law and 2 must be taken in practice
management, ethics or substance abuse (this 2 CE
hour requirement may be taken in home study
format, such as our
2 CE hour ethics course).
It is also our understanding that, (other than
the 2 CE hours Tennessee law requirement)
because we are an NCBTMB approved provider, you
may take any of our courses to complete your
remaining 23 CE hours for license renewal.
You can verify this information or contact the
state of Tennessee with further questions by
visiting the
Tennessee Board of Massage.
Please note that all of our courses can be used
for NCBTMB (National Certification Board for
Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork)
recertification, our approved provider number is
409296-00. You may also use any of our CE
courses for renewal with organizations such as
the AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association)
and ABMP (Associated Bodywork and Massage
Professionals).
